This site does not use first-party or third-party cookies for analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking.

Cookieless aggregate statistics

To understand which content is useful we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not install cookies and does not store personal identifiers. We only have access to aggregate information (page visited, approximate country, device, referring page), which does not allow any visitor to be identified.

In addition to page views, four behaviour indicators are recorded in aggregate form (scroll depth, full-article read, clicks on categories or topics, and language switching). None of these events ties the visitor to a persistent identifier.

Because no cookies are set and the visitor’s device is not accessed, no prior consent is required under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE. The minimal processing of technical data carried out by Umami (it receives the IP address transiently to derive the approximate country, without storing it in the analytics records) is based on legitimate interest; details are set out in the privacy policy.

Technical third-party services

The infrastructure provider may set strictly technical and security cookies for bot mitigation and protection against attacks. Detailed information is available in the provider’s own cookie policy.
